Orawan Suwantong received B.Sc. degree in Industrial Chemistry from Chiang Mai University, Thailand, in 2003, and Ph.D. degree in Polymer Science from The Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, in 2009. During Ph.D. degree, she went to Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, University of Alberta as a research assistant for 6 months. In 2009, she joined the School of Science, Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand and received Assistant Professor in Polymer Science and Technology in 2016. Her current research interests include electrospinning, wound dressing materials, tissue engineering, drug delivery system, hydrogels for agricultural application.

Her research areas include Electrospinning of polymers and Polymers for biomedical applications

Dr. Tang received her Ph.D. degree and M.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. She got her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Dr. Tang has research interests including wellbore/reservoir numerical simulation, coupled fluid and geomechanics simulation, wellbore multiphase flow modeling, and data-driven model development. She currently works with Prof. Abbas Firoozabadi on CO2 fracturing simulation.

Dr. Abouleish has completed his PhD at the age of 31 years from Tennessee Technological University in Environmental Science and Technology. He is an Associate Professor at the American University of Sharjah, in the United the Arab Emirates. He has published different research in reputed journals that is related to Chemical Engineering, Water and Wastewater treatment, Environmental Science and other research areas.

Dr. Parimanan Cherntongchai has completed her PhD in chemical engineering since 2006 from University College London, London, UK. Currently, she works at Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand as a senior lecturer. She has published approximately10 papers in reputed journals.

Dr. Conly Hansen has completed his PhD in Agricultural Engineering from The Ohio State University and joined as a Project Engineer for United States Army (discharged as Captain). At present, he is working as a Professor and Graduate Program Director at Center for Profitable Uses of Agricultural Byproducts, USA. He has published more than 56 research articles in reputed journals along with 6 book chapters; and presented more than 38 presentations with abstracts in national/international conference/symposia. He has around 14 significant honors on his name.

His research areas include Food Engineering, Bioreactors, Waste Treatment and Agriculture Engineering

Fawzi Banat is a Professor and Chair of Chemical Engineering Department at the Petroleum Institute (PI). After obtaining his chemical engineering Doctorate at McGill University, Canada, in 1995, he taught at several universities before joining the PI in 2011. He has published over 120 papers in reputed journals and served in many scientific committees.

Fundamentals of multi-component mass transfer, membrane separations applied to desalination and wastewater treatment, renewable energy and gas treatment.

Prof. Lingai Luo is the first class research director of French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) at the Laboratoire de Thermocinétique de Nantes (LTN), France. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in thermal engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, and her Ph.D. degree in mechanic and thermal engineering from National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL), Nancy, France. Her previous academic appointments include Assistant Professor at INPL, Associate Professor at University of Nancy I, and later at INPL. From 2003 until 2012 she was a Full Professor at University of Savoie, France. From 2007 to 2012, she was the director of Laboratory of design optimization and environmental engineering (LOCIE) of CNRS and University of Savoie. She was the cofounder and coordinator of Sino-French Collaboratory for Environmental and Process Engineering (1998–2006) and was the head of its successor Sino-French Laboratory for Sustainable Energy (2008-2013) of French CNRS and Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was the scientific director of French National Research Agency (ANR)’s energy department. She is also an invited professor at 5 Chinese universities/institutions, and Leuphana University at Lüneburg, Germany. Professor Lingai Luo has published and presented extensively, contributing more than 100 journal articles, one book and more than 120 international conference papers (29 as invited speaker).

Prof. Luo is mainly engaged in the intensification of heat and mass transfer and shape optimization in different energy components, systems and processes. Her research covers a wide range of topics in thermal, process and energy engineering, including combustion in fluidized bed, energy balance analysis of industries, solar refrigeration machines, adsorption and absorption processes, thermoelectric heat pumps or energy for buildings. More recently, her research activities focus on a fundamental strategy based on thermodynamic analysis, transfers intensification and energy systems optimization.

Dr. Davis L. Ford is an Adjunct Professor in the College of Engineering, the University of Texas at Austin, and a Visiting Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Texas Tech University, Lubbock. He is practicing environmental engineer with over forty-five years of experience in the field. In addition, he serves on the faculty at The University of Texas at Austin as an adjunct professor, has published more than one hundred technical papers, has co-authored or contributed to ten textbooks, and written two biographies and co-authored one children’s book. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and in countries of Europe, South America and Asia. Ford received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Texas A&M University and his master and doctorate degrees in environmental engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He is a Distinguished Engineering Graduate of both Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Austin as well as a Distinguished Alumnus of Texas A&M. Ford was elected into the prestigious National Academy of Engineering (NAE). He has served as president of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and chairman of the Academy Ethics Committee. His honorary affiliations include Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi, and Chi Epsilon. Ford serves on the Board of a publicly-owned oil and exploration company (CWEI, NASDAQ) and the Board of the Texas A&M University Press.

He is interested in Chemical, Petroleum & environmental issues & especially in environmental researches he got over forty-five years of experience in the field.

Dr. Mohammad Javad Parnian is currently a researcher at the University of Calgary. He obtained his Ph. D in Chemical Engineering at Chemical Engineering Department of IUST. He previously was a researcher at Center for Fuel Cell and Batteries, University of Delaware. He published different research works in high-quality international research journals and different international conferences.

His research fields are electrochemical energy conversion and storage, membrane engineering, catalyst engineering, renewable energy, and separation process.
