Biography
Dr. Makhmud Kharun serves as an academician since September 2001. At the past, he served as a Civil Engineer in verious construction projects in Singapore and Malaysia. He completed his Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 1992, and received his PhD in 2005 from Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Construction Materials, Construction Technology, Structural Engineering etc. are the main fields of his research. He has published more than 30 research papers published in peer reviewed international journals. He is reviewer of some renowned Scopus and Web of Science indexed international journals published by Springer, Elsevier etc.
Research Interest
The aim of the study is to identify the features of the influence of petroleum products with different viscosity on the physical and mechanical properties of concrete and to offer a quantitative assessment of the reliability of load-bearing structures on the index of mechanical safety.
